Malaurie Hotier,
Psychic and Medium

“Working with Meghan and her team was a game changer. From the start she saw the potential in my story and made bold promises that I’d land an agent and a six figure book deal. And she delivered. I signed with Folio Literary Management and got a book deal with HarperCollins. Claudia, who worked closely with me on my proposal, was incredible. She helped shape the heart of my message and made sure every page reflected my voice. Meghan and Claudia didn’t just help me write a strong proposal. They helped me believe in the power of what I had to say. I’m so glad I trusted them with this process.”

Aiko Bethea,
Founder of RARE Coaching and Consulting, author of Anchored, Aligned, Accountable (Random House, 2026)
and contributor to The New York Times bestselling anthology You Are Your Best Thing.

“When I met Meghan and her team, I didn't know whether the idea I had was worthy of a traditional book deal. Meghan believed in me and my idea 100% from the jump, championing the project from book proposal to final book. Blair was an amazing help getting the book over the finish line! I never felt that they second guessed my ideas, perspective or words.  Instead, they demystified the publishing process and eliminated the gatekeeping that can often happen in the industry.

“It was such a  sound decision to work with Meghan, Blair, and the team at MSB to bring my teaching to readers who need it.”

To get a six-figure book deal with a major publisher, you need an amazing book proposal.

Since 2012 —

  • 100% of our clients who finish a salable book proposal land literary agents

  • 88% of proposals submitted to major publishers get book deals

  • Out of the 20+ deals our clients have landed since 2020, nearly half (42%) have received more than $250,000

Our results are different because we approach the process differently.

  • Integrity
We only work with experts and entrepreneurs on prescriptive (“how-to”) nonfiction books that we feel confident can receive multiple offers from a Big 5 publishing house for $100,000 or more.

  • Support
Clients are welcome to ask any question, raise any concern, even call years after we’re done working together. We’re here to help.

  • Impact
Our goal is to help our clients make the biggest impact possible with their words and ideas. Books are a truly equitable product — and create a massive opportunity for entrepreneurs, experts, and leaders to share their big, helpful message.

  • Equity
Readers deserve and need diverse books. We use our position as industry insiders to support people from diverse and marginalized backgrounds who have systemically and purposefully been left out of traditional publishing.

  • Individuality
Every client we work with is unique. Your book proposal and manuscript will sound like you — whether you write it or not.

Jamie Sears,
Founder and CEO of Not So Wimpy Teacher and Author of How To Love Teaching Again (Portfolio, 2023)

“I have wanted to write a book for my entire life. Meghan was there for me during every stage of the process. Don’t get me wrong—writing a book is hard. There have been days and even weeks where I have hated the process and the book. But I also felt an extreme sense of pride and excitement as I finished each step with her help, and looked forward to our calls every week. I am so grateful to Meghan and her team for helping me get my book out in the world.”

FAQs

Is this right for me?

Every author and book idea is unique. That said, we do have a quick and easy way for you to find out whether we might be a good fit. Take the quiz.

Can you guarantee results?

No. You should be wary of anyone who guarantees a book deal. In traditional publishing, there are multiple variables that are outside of our control, even as expert collaborators.

That said, it’s in our best interest to get you a literary agent and six-figure book deal — so we can promise that we’ll do everything possible to help you be successful, including referring you to someone who is a better fit for your project.

I want to write my own proposal or book. Is that possible?

Yes! My team and I are experienced editors, and can help you focus on what you can write to make your book successful.

I have a literary agent/book deal/publisher already.

Congrats! We would love to talk about helping you with your proposal or full manuscript. That said, we don’t offer any services marketing, promoting, or selling books.

How much does it cost?

Costs vary by project, but our clients consistently earn a 200%+ return on their investment.

Rae McDaniel,
Founder of Practical Audacity and author of Gender Magic (Balance, 2023)

“Hiring Meghan was the best damn decision I made in all of 2021. She isn’t a literary agent, but will help you write a proposal and make the introductions that get you an agent and a deal. She took my dream of a book and turned that into a reality. She knows what she’s doing and made the agent/publisher-getting process a dream.”

Jamie Trull,
Founder of Balance CFO and Power in Numbers, and author of Hidden Profit (Simon Element/Simon Acumen, 2025)

“I always dreamed of writing a book but was intimidated by the process and wasn't sure where to start. Meghan believed in me from the very beginning. From that first email nudging me to take the leap all the way through the final drafts, she was right there with me. She cheered me on, offered thoughtful guidance, and gave me the push I needed when I started to doubt myself. I didn’t realize just how much it would help to have someone like her by my side through the whole process. I truly couldn’t have done it without her. And honestly, we had a blast along the way!”
